For the record, I don't think I've ever come out of the sand looking like this.

the wifey's back

coury left town a few days after we got back from the honeymoon. she went off to score advanced placement exams in louisville for a week.

just for fun, i told people it only took two weeks of marriage before coury left me. most women found that quite humorous.

the wife returned this afternoon, much to the delight of her new husband and her favorite feline friend moe. two of her favorite guys spent the day cleaning house and doing laundry (instead of golfing!) to make sure everything was nice when she returned.

moe and i bonded this week while we held down the bachelor pad. i broke my own rule and fed him some table food and he occasionally curled up beside me in bed.

you can tell by the picture, however, who he favors and how glad he is that she's home. i can't say i blame him.

welcome home wifey! we missed you.

i caught coury in some nice light while she was heading out the door for work. i was up finishing my last sports section before we run off to get married. she was dressed super nice as she had a power lunch with some major players who are sponsoring a program at the school. doesn't she look nice?

moe is concerned. you're gonna let her leave the house looking like THAT?!?

moe tends to be critical. he doesn't want coury to get snatched up while walking around the world looking beautiful. it's okay moe. she needs contact lenses. she has no idea what she's missing.

my tux

for those wondering what my tux will look like on may 22, here ya go.

hopefully my head will have shrunk to fit my flowing golden locks by then. i've been doing my head exercises daily to slim it down. i always did have a big noggin.

for the curious groomsmen, just imagine this tux with a royal bluish vest and / or tie. i really can't remember what was blue. i just know mine is silver and yours blue.
